A phenomenon in his native Australia thanks to appearances in TV show "The Ronnie Johns Half Hour" Heath Franklin has taken the comedy world down-under by storm with his hilarious take on everybody's favourite hard-man convict "Chopper" Read. Record-breaking live shows in both Australia and New Zealand have cemented his reputation as a superb character-comic, as have appearances at the Edinburgh Festival and London's Riverside Studios. This sold-out live performance (the final night of a 21 city Australian Tour) was filmed inside Victoria's notorious Pentridge Prison where Chopper himself was once held in the high security H-Division. Plus the prison also served as a key location for Andrew Dominik's 2000 film of Chopper's life starring Eric Banna (now at 678,000 UK DVD sales.)
