Comedy Central garnered some of its highest-ever ratings when it invited the legendary William Shatner to be the recipient of one its time-honoured celebrity roasts. The iconic over-actor proved to be a good sport as he endured the hilarious, though affectionate, barbs of a star-studded roster of guests that included comics Andy Dick, Ben Stiller, and Jimmy Kimmel; host Jason Alexander; and Shatner's former STAR TREK costars George Takei and Nichelle Nichols.
